The teacher is Mario Rio. Born in Switzerland, he is currently a member of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. He studied in Bern with Walter Grimmer and in Paris with Prof. Maurice Gendron. In addition to his orchestral activities and teaching, Mario performs with various chamber music ensembles in the Netherlands and abroad.
